(Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) – June 5, 2017 – Marlenne Ruiz, Operations Manager for Media Monitors Dominican Republic, has been promoted to Deputy General Manager with immediate effect.

Marlenne has been a part of the Media Monitors DR operation since its inception in October 2008, initially as a Discovery Agent. She has a Degree in Industrial Engineering and is currently on her second year of studying for her MBA.

She commented: “I feel enthusiastic, joyful and thankful to be given the opportunity, once again, to embrace new challenges and responsibilities. The more I grow within this company the more I appreciate the incredible path of nine years that has lead me to where I am today; a path that, without the help of many members of the DR office, would not have been possible.”

General Manager, Sigfredo Soto, said: “Marlenne has been highly influential in the development and growth of this office, always showing an exemplary commitment in her most recent role as Operations Manager.”

Senior Vice President International Operations and Chief Compliance Officer, Mike Powell, added: “We have a great team in the Dominican Republic and it is always very pleasing when we can promote from within our existing operation. Marlenne has shown exceptional leadership skills and as part of her expanded role, she will help us nurture and develop the next tier of leadership talent that already exists in our Santo Domingo office.
